Henry “Hank” Didier, Jr, Founding Partner
Henry “Hank” Didier, Jr. graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University with dual degrees in Management and Multi-National Business, and with Honors from the Duke University School of Law. While at Duke, he focused his studies on environmental law and business litigation.
Didier began his legal career working on environmental land use issues, and how businesses can appropriately develop land while also respecting the sanctity of Florida’s natural resources. He then moved on to do business litigation at two different statewide law firms where he represented large corporations including General Motors, AllState and Wal-Mart in various legal matters. He then shifted his focus to consumer justice, handling complex litigation matters, and now works tirelessly to protect the rights of Floridians and others throughout the Southeast.
In the wake of the Deepwater Horizon disaster, Didier chose to draw up both his experiences as a business and consumer advocate to help businesses and individuals negotiate the BP settlement. As a partner in Economic Recovery Group, he is working to address the direct and indirect economic impacts of the spill throughout the coastal cities of Florida as the state, its businesses, and its professionals continue to recover.
As ERG continues to serve existing clients only, Didier also oversees the Didier Law Firm, which specializes in the litigation of complex product liability and catastrophic accident cases. In this firm, the vast majority of cases involve severe bodily injury, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death. Didier’s clients and their families are the reason he is absolutely commited to advocating for consumer rights both in and out of courtroom.
Throughout his legal career, Didier has worked in co-counsel relationships with other lawyers in complex business and litigation cases. Through ERG, he is able to continue to work in referral relationships with business and consumer litigation firms across the state on behalf of their clients. He believes in principle that the best practice is to freely share information, help other attorneys and move forward together for the common cause.
Didier holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, has been consistently recognized in Florida’s Super Lawyers magazine, most recently in 2014 for Business Litigation, selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012, named one of Florida’s Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine, one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association, and one of the “Best of the Bar” by the Orlando Business Journal. He is an active member of the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, and is the immediate past president of the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association.
He enjoys boating and spends a lot of his free time on lacrosse, football and soccer fields with his wife, Allison, and their four children.
